01 / Vacuum forming
Formed around
your requirements.
Thermoplastic components made with Geiss and Cannon Shelley equipment, supported by in-house tooling, trimming and assembly.
From sheet to component
The process at the heart of our factory.
We heat thermoplastic sheet and form it over tooling to create the component shape. Our CNC capability then trims profiles, openings and features to suit the next manufacturing stage.
Material choice, considered.
ABS, PVC, polycarbonate, polypropylene, PMMA/ABS and other thermoplastics, with sheet thicknesses from 1–10 mm.
We will review the shape, finish, material and tooling with you to establish a suitable manufacturing route.
Our maximum sheet capacity is 2500 × 1500 mm. Finished component size depends on geometry, draw depth, tooling and material.
Geiss T11 technology
Control at every
stage of forming.
Our two Geiss T11 vacuum formers provide sheet capacities of 2500 × 1500 mm and 1600 × 1200 mm. The T11 platform brings together servo-driven movement, individual heater control and touchscreen operation.
Controlled movement
Servo motors drive the main machine axes, supporting controlled movement through the forming cycle.
Targeted heating
Individually adjustable heating elements allow heat distribution to be tailored to the component and material.
Clearer setup
A touchscreen interface and tool-dimension-based setup simplify process preparation and adjustment.
T11 platform information from Geiss AG. Component suitability is reviewed against our machine capacities and the production requirement.

Sheet capacity is a guide. Component suitability depends on geometry, tooling and material.

A connected production route
Forming is the beginning.
Tooling creates the shape. CNC machining defines the edges and features. Assembly brings the finished component together.
